Trail rides and Nature tours
2023 UPDATE: We are no longer booking "one time" trail rides. We still have a few spots for new riders, but only for those looking to join us at a minimum of once a week.
All disciplines and levels welcome. Grooming and tacking can be provided by barn staff but can also be part of the ride to learn and encouraged for those who already know how. Please be respectful and do not touch or feed a horse you do not know - ALWAYS ask first.
Attire requirements: long pants and a sturdy shoe with a 1/2-1" heel (like this). Proper footwear and helmets can be provided or you are welcome to bring your own (Bike- or Ski helmets are accepted). Please note we have a weight limit of 240 lbs/ 100 kg. Adults Only.

For those who need a guide or a buddy for the trails. More info below. Per hour

Approximately 1 hour, including brief pre-ride lesson for beginners.

Cancellations: All rides/visits must be cancelled at least 48 hours before the booked time to avoid paying for the session in full. For first time riders/visitors a deposit of one rider ($80) is required to hold your spot.
*Please allow 24-48 hour notice when booking your ride/visit. No experience required. Rates are per person and packages are non-transferable. Trail rides will be moved to indoor riding if weather if deemed dangerous. All riders must be 18+.
** Riding package includes any 5 rides that can be taken within a 2 month period. No transfers, no make ups, no refunds/ rides can take place in the arena if rider wishes or weather does not permit riding in the forest.
^Maximum of 4 individuals. Minimum age of 16 for farm visits.
BYO-HORSE GUIDED TOURS (@Horse and transportation to trails not included. No age restrictions@)
$75/hour - bring as many horses as you like.
1 hour, 2 hour and 3 hour options available
Available Friday afternoons and Sundays anywhere within 30 mins of Stouffville Ontario.
For those who have their own horse but want:
- A guide so they don't get lost
- To confidently explore new places
- A trail buddy (green or sour horses and nervous riders welcome)
- Cross training for their show horse
- An amazing new but safe experience with their horse
- Proof of $5M insurance required
We cater to your horse and will choose the best forest / route suitable to what you are looking for.
Don't want to ride in your show saddle? Trail saddles (English and western) can be provided for $25.
